Despite the disorder and chaos situations that shaped the current images of Somalia, the educational revival initiated by the new privately owned institutions demonstrate a promising future on the horizon. Such new institutions from primary to higher educational institutions are eager to develop partnership and collaboration with international education institutions. Such partnership strengthens their ability to provide high standard education and services.

Students and Individuals
Being student or individual your involvement could be that single missing piece to complete the mission. Perhaps you may pass a word around to others, promote us at your website, contribute with ideas or donate books and other equipment.
Somali Academics and Intellectuals
As a Somali individual or organisation, you may already be doing your contribution in one way or another. Yet, due to the large scale of the damage done to the infrastructure of Somalia and the fact that people like you who have better understanding and experiences of the country's needs are expected to be the foundation layers for the restoration initiatives. Therefore, we would like your involvement with us in order to re-establish Library and Information Services in Somalia.
We need to hear from you if
- You have any information and/or experiences related to the Somali National Library.
- You have or you know someone who might have an access to scripts, documents, books, written or otherwise preserved information, and any other historic or and contemporary materials related to Somalia as well as to the region. We will not necessarily ask you to give us the actual materials, but we are rather interested in locating and cataloguing such materials for future developments.
- You would like to give us advice and contributions in any form or shape.
- You would like to work with us inside Somalia or from any other country.
